They say
“no man is an island”. I do believe on that saying. Every one of us has a
friend, someone who’s always there when we problems come.
What
is friendship?
Google.com says that Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection
between two or more people. Friendship is a stronger form of interpersonal bond
than an association.
We all have circle of friends in school and in our childhood life. Some leaves
to search for their career, some stays to become part of your life. Every day
as we walk along streets and highways we meet different kinds of people. Some
became our friends unexpectedly. There are friends that we can talk about all
our secrets and bitterness, someone who understands us most. There are friends
that need you when they want something in you, someone talks to you when they
are in needs but leaves when you are in trouble. There are different kinds of
friends we encounter but then we learn from them and it always leaves a lesson.
Last time
one of my professor asked if we agree on the saying,
“Tell me who your friends are and I will tell
you who you are”
I agree because friends
sometimes influence us not totally but I believe that we acquire part or some
of their attitudes no matter what kind it is. We will notice someone’s attitude
based on their environment or community like our chosen friends, they will know
what kind of person we are based on our circle of friends. Although some might
disagree because they say that we can control what they are doing. But then
once we choose people or friends in our life we adopt some of their attitudes.
Attributes of a true friends:
>Friends are someone who leans on
when trials come.
>Friends understand us even in
unlikely times.
>Friends are the reason why we
can still able to smile when we feel pain.
>Friends will never leave you
even in darkness.
>Friends understand us more than
our parents.
>Friends sometimes are better
than special someone.
>Friends keep your secret till
death.
>Friends teach us to become a
better person.
>Friends are the one who laughs
on your corny and crazy jokes.
My
friends contribute a lot in my whole life. They’ve done a big impact that I was
today. I am very blessed having those kinds of friends and very thankful that
God let them become part of my life. They understand me more than my siblings
and parents. I talk to them when I encountering problems, I cried to them when
I feel hurt.
I
had a great experience and moments when I am with them, laughs on crazy jokes
and talks on nonsense things. We are happy and contented with such things. Life
is so hard if you don’t have friends, it’s so stressful when there’s no one
cheering you up.
